2nd Car

I am pleased to announce that I am the proud new owner of a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. It has about 97,000 miles on it, is a front wheel drive, and has been taken care of very well. I saw an ad for it online on Monday and called to check it out. It was very clean, in great condition, and ran smoothly. I was certain that I was going to buy it but I wanted a 2nd opinion first. Today, my co-worker agreed to go with me and take a look at it. He agreed with me that it was in mint condition for it's age and mileage and said he would buy it if he were looking for a car like I was. After he left, I sealed the deal with the owner. I will pay most of what I owe tomorrow and then give the rest in 2 weeks to allow me to keep some money in the bank after I pay the rest that I owe. When that happens, I will receive the title and the keys to take it home.

This is my 2nd car. My only hope is that it lasts at least until I can get my bachelor's degree. At that point if something goes wrong, I'll be able to afford to fix it.
